You can access your user information and password on Faselis by clicking on the (X) icon located next to your name, on the right top of the screen. When you click on this icon, you will reach the My Information section under “Personal Settings” found on the “Settings” page.
Personal Settings
My Information
On the My Information screen, you can enter and edit your name, surname, office and mobile phone numbers, e-mail address, title, Twitter and LinkedIn social media account information, Faselis user language and gender. Name, surname, phone numbers and e-mail address fields must be filled out.
On the signature section found on the bottom of the same screen, you can add your personal signature which will be added to the press releases. You can obtain more information about the HTML-based editor in the Editor section.
In order to upload or change your photo, click on the profile photo section located on the top of the page and either drag your photo to the related section on the new page that appears or choose the photo from the related folder (JPG, PNG, GIF and TIFF formats are supported). You can choose the areas of the uploaded photo that you wish to use by changing the place and size of the circular frame located on the photo.
Security and Password Operations
After having entered your current password in this section, you can then enter your new password twice in order to change it.
Administration
The administration page is where the Admin users define and edit the brands and users. Standard users are not able to access this section.
User Operations
The users within agencies who have Admin authorization can add a new user in the system by clicking on the “New User” text located on the top right of this screen. The name, surname, phone number, e-mail address, interface language and gender are mandatory fields on the “New User” screen.
On this screen you can also enter a user’s title, mobile phone number, Twitter and Facebook addresses. You can use the editor field found on the bottom in order to define a signature in the HTML standard.
When you click on the “Add” button which becomes active once you have filled out the mandatory fields, the user information is saved and you can find the key you can use to define the user as an administrator and a list where you can select to which brands this user have access to just under the “Signature” field.
When you define a new user, Faselis will automatically send the temporary password of the user to the e-mail defined. After the user has logged in to Faselis with this temporary password, he/she must then change his/her password.
If the newly created user does not receive the e-mail automatically sent by Faselis for any reason, he/she can request a password reset link from the system by clicking on “Forgot Password” on the Faselis homepage.
The same screen mentioned above appears when you click on the pencil icon found on the “Edit” column of any user and here you can carry out the necessary changes.
If you wish to make any user “passive”, you can click on the icon on the “Archive” column to make them passive and to move them to the archive.
Users moved to the archive are moved to the “Passive Users” section found on the bottom and these users will no longer be able to log in to Faselis. To reactivate a user, go on the user found in the “Passive Users” section and click on the “Activate” text.
Brands
In this section used for defining brands, the top section provides summary information related to your organization. The bottom section contains your list of current brands.
In order to define a new brand, you need to click on the “New Brand” text found on the top right. As corporate users do not have the authority to define new brands, they do not see the “New Brand” text. When you click on the “New Brand” text, an empty “Information” page where you can enter the brand information will open. If you click on the (X-pencil) icon found on the right side of any existing brand, the “Information” page will open so that you can edit the information.
Information: In the “Brand” section, enter the name of the brand that you will use in Faselis; in the “Company Name” field, enter your company name in the way you want it to appear on the bottom of e-mail press releases and in the Faselis interface. After clicking, you will reach the page where you can edit the account information.
On the bottom, you can also add the web address and social media accounts of the brand. If you do not want the brand lifetime to be extended automatically each month, then you can click on the key below which is active by default in order to turn off the automatic extension.
For each brand that is active in Faselis, you must choose at least 1 and at most 3 brand sectors. As you type the name of the sector, the list of registered sectors will automatically start to appear and you can choose the sector from this list.
In the “Tag” section, you need to enter tags which may be used to search the brand. The brand name will appear pre-defined. If you want, you can add new tags or remove them by clicking on the (x) icon next to the added tags.
Authorization: On this page you can activate or deactivate authorizations of existing users for operations related to brands (send press release/invitation, examine reports, etc.) by clicking on the key next to user names.
Test Users: Before sending out a press release using Faselis, you can define test users in this section and send out a copy to do final checks.
You can choose the test users among the active users found below or you can define them by entering their names, surnames, e-mail addresses, and gender information.
Header & Footer Information: You can find two editors on this page where you can add predefined sections to the header and footer sections of press releases. If you wish, you can add the brand’s logo to the header section and information which does not often change and are found in every press release, such as brand address information or an About the Company text, on the footer section. Please check the “Editor” section in order to examine how to add such information in more detail.
Senders: On this page you can define with which names the press releases will be sent to members of the media. Fill out the “Name & Surname” section exactly how you want the e-mail sender section to appear (e.g. Ali Kahraman – XYZ Agency). In the e-mail address section, you need to specify a reply to e-mail address members of the media will use to ask questions or reply to the e-mail.
If you wish, you can also select the ones you want from the active users found on the bottom section of the page as the Sender.
Brand Archive
Brands which are made passive when their time expires are stored in the Faselis Brand Archive. You can click on the “Activate” text next to the brand in order to reactivate a brand that was previously made passive.
